Purpose & Scope of Data Deletion
At Codju Technologies, we respect your privacy and give you full control over your personal data. In compliance with Meta Platform Terms (User Data Deletion requirements), the WhatsApp Business Platform, GDPR, CCPA, and applicable data protection regulations, this page provides explicit instructions on how users, schools, teachers, and businesses can request the permanent deletion of personal data and integration records held or processed by Codju.
Understanding Data Control: Codju vs. Meta / WhatsApp
Data Stored & Controlled by Codju: Upon receiving a verified request, Codju will delete or anonymize all personal account data, synchronized contacts, message logs, and integration records stored on Codju's database and servers.
Data Controlled Independently by Meta / WhatsApp: Deleting your data from Codju removes it from our systems, but does not delete data held independently by Meta Platforms, Inc. on their own infrastructure. To manage or delete data held directly by Meta, please refer to Meta's Privacy Policy & Data Management Tools.
Direct Request via Email (Universal Method)
You can submit a data deletion request directly to our Data Privacy team by sending an email from your registered email address:

Subject Line: Data Deletion Request - [Your Name / School Name / Registered Email]
Please provide the necessary information to identify your account:
- Your Full Name and Registered Email Address / Mobile Phone Number.
- School or Organization Name (if affiliated with an institutional account).
- Connected WhatsApp Business Account ID or Phone Number (for WhatsApp integration deletion).
- Facebook User ID or Profile URL (if you authenticated using Facebook Login).
- Specific scope of deletion (e.g., WhatsApp integration records, student learning data, or complete account purge).
Remove Codju via Facebook Settings (For Facebook Login)
If you connected or logged in with Facebook, you can revoke permissions and initiate an automated deletion notice directly from Facebook:
- 1Log in to Facebook and go to Settings & Privacy > Settings.
- 2In the left-hand sidebar, select Apps and Websites.
- 3Locate Codju in your list of apps and click Remove.
- 4You can also click View Removed Apps and Websites, click Codju, and choose Send Request to trigger an automated data deletion notice to our servers.
WhatsApp Disconnect & Institutional Portal Deletion
For businesses and school accounts managing integrated services:
WhatsApp Business Disconnection: Inside your Codju Dashboard, navigate to Settings > Integrations > WhatsApp and click Disconnect Account. This revokes active tokens and stops message sync. To purge historical logs, submit a deletion request via [email protected].
School Class & Student Records: Teachers can delete individual student entries and assignments directly within the AI Labs 360° teacher management dashboard.
Complete School Decommissioning: Institutional administrators can request a complete institutional data wipe by submitting an authorized request to [email protected].
What Data Gets Deleted
Upon verified request, Codju permanently removes the following categories of information stored on our systems:
Account & Profile Information
Name, email address, phone number, school affiliation, and authentication credentials.
WhatsApp & Social Identifiers
WhatsApp Business Account IDs, phone number bindings, OAuth tokens, Facebook User IDs, and API session tokens.
Messaging & Communication Logs
Message content stored on Codju servers, delivery status history, recipient phone numbers, and customer support logs.
Student Performance Records
Quiz results, coding exercise submissions, computational thinking assessments, and classroom activity records.
Data Retention Exceptions
Certain limited data may be retained after a deletion request where strictly required or reasonably necessary for:
Statutory Legal & Tax Compliance: Financial transaction invoices, billing records, and tax filings must be retained for mandatory statutory audit periods under applicable law.
Security & Fraud Prevention: Minimal security audit logs and abuse-prevention records may be maintained to prevent fraud and protect platform integrity.
Aggregated & Anonymized Analytics: High-level statistical metrics that cannot be linked back to any identifiable individual or school.
System Backups: Residual data in encrypted disaster-recovery backups is securely overwritten and purged in accordance with standard 30-day automated rolling cycles.
