What's covered in these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, digital learning platforms, educational tools, and communication integrations ("Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services.
Eligibility
Our Services are intended for use by schools, teachers, students, and authorized partner organizations. By using our Services, you represent that you are either a school administrator, teacher, student authorized to use the platform, or an authorized representative of an organization using our software integrations.
Account Registration
During registration, schools and organizational customers will provide basic information such as institutional name, contact person, and address. Teachers and staff can then be added by administrators and will be able to create and manage classes, curriculum progress, student activities, and associated communication channels.
Use of Services
Schools & Organizations
Schools and organizations are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of information provided, securing account credentials, and ensuring authorized use across their staff and classrooms.
Teachers & Educators
Teachers may create classes, manage student learning data, and use communication tools. They are responsible for maintaining confidentiality and proper academic use.
Students
Students may access learning modules, coding platforms, and digital activities under the guidance and supervision of their teachers and parents.
Third-Party Platforms & WhatsApp Integration
Codju provides software integrations with third-party platforms, including Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform / WhatsApp Cloud API. When you use these integrations:
Third-Party Dependency
Codju's WhatsApp functionality relies directly on the availability, APIs, and infrastructure of Meta Platforms, Inc. Meta may modify, restrict, suspend, or discontinue APIs or features at its sole discretion. Codju cannot guarantee uninterrupted, continuous, or error-free availability of third-party services.
Account Authorization
When connecting a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) or phone number to Codju, you explicitly authorize Codju to access, send, receive, and process messages and event webhooks necessary to provide the messaging service. Your organization remains fully responsible for your WhatsApp Business Account.
User & Business Responsibilities for Messaging
Any business, school, or user sending communications through Codju's WhatsApp integration agrees to the following requirements:
Lawful Consent & Permissions: You represent and warrant that you have obtained all necessary prior permissions, authorizations, and lawful consents from recipients before initiating WhatsApp communications.
Compliance with Meta Policies: You must strictly comply with all applicable Meta terms, including the WhatsApp Business Policy and WhatsApp Commerce Policy.
Message Content & Ownership: You are solely responsible for the content, accuracy, legality, and compliance of messages transmitted through your account. Codju acts as a technical transmission tool and is not the publisher or author of your communications.
No Prohibited or Spam Messaging: You must not use the integration to send unsolicited marketing, spam, fraudulent material, defamatory content, harassment, or malicious code.
Data Protection and Privacy
We take data protection and privacy seriously. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for complete information on how we collect, use, and safeguard personal information.

Intellectual Property
All content and materials on our website and platform, including curriculum textbooks, interactive lessons, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of Codju Technologies and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written consent.
Termination & Suspension
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Services (including third-party messaging integrations) at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if Meta restricts your WhatsApp access, or if security, abuse, or policy violations occur.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Codju Technologies shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of your access to or use of (or inability to use) our Services or third-party integrations.
Your Restrictions and Responsibilities
You represent, warrant, and agree that you will not use, distribute, process, or otherwise utilize the Content or Services in any way that:
Infringes or violates any intellectual property rights, proprietary rights, rights of publicity or privacy, or other rights of any third party.
Violates any applicable laws, statutes, ordinances, or regulations.
Is harmful, fraudulent, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable, as reasonably determined by Codju Technologies.
Jeopardizes the security of your account, including by allowing others unauthorized access to your account or password.
Attempts to obtain the password, account, or other security information from any other user.
Compromises the security of any computer network or attempts to bypass any password or security encryption codes.
Runs Maillist, Listserv, any form of auto-responder, or "spam" on the Services, or activates any unauthorized automated processes that interfere with the proper functioning of the Services.
"Crawls," "scrapes," or "spiders" any page, data, or portion of the Services or Content, whether manually or through automated means.
Decompiles, reverse engineers, or otherwise attempts to access the source code or underlying ideas or information related to the Services.
Codju Technologies reserves the right to terminate access to any third-party application or service connected to our APIs. We also reserve the right to remove any Content from the Services at any time, for any reason. You are solely responsible for all Content that you upload, post, email, transmit, or otherwise disseminate using the Services.
Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
